Mass of the Blessing of the Oils + Consecration of the Chrism **this Mass will be celebrated at Holy Family Cathedral in Tulsa** Chrism Mass is one of the most solemn & important liturgies on the liturgical calendar. It is an ancient tradition of the Church that can be traced back to the Easter Vigil in the year 200 A.D. The Chrism Mass is held during Holy Week in every Catholic diocese. It is traditionally held on the Tuesday of Holy Week here in Tulsa. During this Mass, the priests, deacons, and representatives of the entire diocesan community gather around the Bishop, who blesses the Holy Oils for use in the coming year. These are: the Oil of the Sick, the Oil of Catechumens, & the Sacred Chrism. If you or someone in your family will be receiving the Sacrament of Baptism and/or Confirmation this year, we strongly encourage attendance at Chrism Mass.  | 5 Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament

Join the Secular Franciscan Order at their monthly rosary rally. Bring your rosary and a chair or a blanket to sit on and meet the group at noon under the Bell Tower to pray along. In the case of inclement weather, the rosary rally will take place in the church. Polish Community Blessing of the Baskets & Social
Święconka, meaning "the blessing of the Easter baskets", is one of the most enduring and beloved Polish traditions on Holy Saturday during Easter. With roots dating back to the early history of Poland, it is also observed by expatriate and their descendants Poles in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Sweden and other Polish communities in the world. The tradition of food blessing at Easter is said to date from the 7th century in its basic form, the more modern form containing bread and eggs (symbols of resurrection and Christ) are said to date from the 12th century.

Join us as we honor the limitless mercy & unconditional compassion of our Blessed Lord Jesus Christ on Divine Mercy Sunday! Fr. Daniel will lead a special Holy Hour at 3p in the church. This will include adoration & benediction, praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, hymns, & a Eucharistic procession around the campus (weather permitting). If the weather is exceptionally unfavorable, the procession will take place inside the church/narthex. We will have coloring & activity sheets for the children. This is not a typical Saturday evening vigil (anticipation) Mass. The Paschal vigil is the greatest liturgy of the entire year & has been known as “the mother of all vigils” since the days of the early church. it marks the beginning of easter & is the mass where the sacraments of initiation take place for those who wish to enter into the church or complete the first sacraments through OCIA. The vigil is divided into four parts: the Service of Light, the Liturgy of the Word, the Liturgy of Baptism, and the Liturgy of the Eucharist. You should expect the Easter Vigil Mass to last at least two hours. Please take this into consideration if you have young children.

Join us as we honor the limitless mercy & unconditional compassion of our Blessed Lord Jesus Christ on Divine Mercy Sunday!
Fr. Daniel will lead a special Holy Hour at 3p in the church. This will include adoration & benediction, praying the Chaplet of Divine Mercy, hymns, & a Eucharistic procession around the campus (weather permitting). If the weather is exceptionally unfavorable, the procession will take place inside the church/narthex. We will have coloring & activity sheets for the children. Please bring a rosary (unless you're fine keeping count with your fingers). All are welcome.
